  I ordered a chocolate birthday cake on the phone from NYC to be delivered to my parents in South Palm Beach. The cake , I'm told, was exceptional and delicious. and a crowd-pleaser.... Lara was courteous and professional . I highly recommend!

  I ordered my wedding cake from Cakes by Lara and I was mortified when I saw it on my wedding day! The cake looked nothing like the picture I had given her. A red flag should have been raised when I called her two days before the wedding and she had no idea who I was and asked me to resend her the picture of the cake I wanted. But it was two days before the wedding and too late to find someone else- The color and design was so off that I wouldn't be surprised if it was mixed up with someone else's order. My wedding cake looked like it belonged to a sweet 16 birthday party!! It was Bright pink!! The cake it self tasted NOTHING like what we tasted and picked- it was extremely dry- it was supposed to have a cream cheese and raspberry filling, the guests thought it was a banana cake! I couldn't recognize the cake- it was not what we had discussed and ordered! I just don't want another unexpecting bride to experience my dissapointment by the time it's too late!
