  PLEASE READ! Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars. We have gone there a couple of times but this weekend was our last. I sat outside with my parents and my two boys who are very well behaved. My very shy 6 year old LOVES sushi and he finally built up the courage to go to the bar counter to see how the sushi man (owner) made the rolls. When he placed his hand on the stool to sit down the owner didn't shout but SCREAMED at him "GET OUT!!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!! OUT!!!!!!" My son turned quickly and walked outside where we were and immediately started crying... He was afraid and hurt. I could not believe my eyes. He had done NOTHING! I went inside straight away and asked why he had shouted at him, and he said my son was touching everything, the dishes, the food.... There weren't ANY dishes on the counter or food!!!!!!!! I told him he hadn't touched anything because I was watching him the whole time and that he couldn't shout at a kid like that. And still screaming he said, "I AM THE OWNER AND I SHOUT AT WHO I WANT TO!!!" I just left the place immediately but just wish I had had the courage to tell him what a mean and terrible human being he was. Somebody who screams at a 6 year old that way for no reason does NOT deserve to have any customers at his restaurant. You are better off just crossing the Ocean Ave bridge and eating sushi at Taikyo which was actually a huge surprise. Better sushi and service and you can later walk to the Ice-Cream Club which is located at the same complex. By the way, I am still livid!!! And thank God my husband wasn't there because he would have kicked his a**!

  Terrible customer service. Food is average. My husband just paid nearly $30 for a lunch special that we expected to be $10.95. We asked the server to sub a rainbow for another that was listed and he said "no problem" when we got the bill it was $18.95 plus we were charged separate for the three pieces of sushi that should have been included in the special, another $10.95. When we argued that he misinformed us when we ordered, he said there was nothing he could do. We have been here a few times because it's local and convenient but this will be the last.

  Sushi was solid, teriyaki shrimp was not very good and not worth half of the $22 I was charged, vegetables served with it were soggy and could not eat. Service was quick, yet possibly too quick...
